Here is were we agree to differ, before I did the JW thing, I would have been a communist. The distribution or wealth and the removal of inequality in society was impotant to me. Jesus in many ways, seemed to me a communist, that was an attraction, this utopian state of equality would be brought around by god. So for me the royals are PARASITES, and only serve to reinforce the huge gulf in wealth and privalige in our (UK) country. Sorry Watersprout lol

prana, life force, chakras? What?!
by finding my way ini went to a pranic healing class with my sister in law last week (i've been out 6 years and i'm starting to get pretty open minded).
i didn't expect to feel or experience anything "different".
i thought it was all weird but was not scared of the ideas like i would have been a few years ago.. so anyways we did a couple excercises where we held our hands a couple feet above our partners hands and visualized light in different colors beaming out of ours and hitting theres and then switched roles.

How Do I 'Come Out' To My Kids?
by headisspinning inthose of you who have been following my story know that i just 'came out' to my family about being finished with the religion.. does anyone have advice on how to explain this to the kids?
their ages are 9 & 14 and they are very smart and fully grasp all the issues.. they are living with their father who has brainwashed them.
so this is very touchy.. should i just keep being a good mom and just lay low?

My Mum was a Scottish Prodestant, My father an Irish catholic, they raised us nuetral, that should be the ideal scenario for you, how realistic that proposistion is for you, I dont know.
As it happens I am in agreement with you, however, strict nuetrality or as close as you can get to that point, wont do any of you any harm.
Your kids should be not forced to pick and choose, between either parents choice of religious beliefs.
futhermore your kids will discuss this at some point, without you or you husband being privvy to this, if your ex does the bullyboy JW stuff whilst you insist on nuetrality and are measured and put their intrests first, they shoul be abe to discern your genuine concern for them. Try no matter how temtingDO NOT to play the( short game ) by scoring cheap points now, let things go nuetral, and gain your children by consistently putting them first.

Yet he struggled to find a girl, he had the looks, but only 1 brain cell, and that didnt funtion much. He finally met and married someone, prepared to take his body, and ignore the rest.

thankyou for your responses, but how can bona fidi 29yo be taking the Emblems ? I thought the last of the 144000, were sealed in 1935, this young guy was born in 1982, am I missing something here, how can this be ? where is eggnogg ? are there any JW,s who can explain what current Watchtower thinking is here ? your comments and observations would be most welcome.
